Robert A. Plantz, the owner and managing member of Robert A. Plantz & Associates, LLC. He was born in 1973 and began law clerking during college at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. After Purdue, he attended Valparaiso University School of Law until graduation in May of 1999. Mr. Plantz has worked in a law office for nearly fifteen (15) years and has been formally licensed to practice for ten (10) years. He now runs and manages his own law firm, with a large enough staff to handle any volume of cases that may be presented.

Mr. Plantz is a member of the American Bar Associates, Association of Trial Lawyers, Indiana State Bar Association, Lake County Bar Association, and the Calumet Inns of Court. Further, he is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Indiana, the Indiana Court of Appeals, and each and every State Court in Indiana. He is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court Northern District of Indiana, United States Bankruptcy Court Northern District of Indiana, United States District Court Southern District of Indiana. He has also been admitted to practice on various occasions with the Federal and State Courts in the State of Illinois and other states throughout the Nation.
Mr. Plantz is also certified as a Guardian Ad Litem to serve as court appointed special counsel for children going through divorce or family law court.
Hobbies
Mr. Plantz has a wife and two small children - a 12 year old daughter and a bright and vibrant young boy who turns age 2 on May 14, 2009. He played a year of college baseball and still continues to play baseball (actually softball) now that college is over. He enjoys socializing with friends when he can find time off of work and taking trips with his family to go camping, fishing, or just laying by the pool with a "cold one."
